The Races:

Race2:
Luna Rossa bt Greek Challenge
Race3:
BMW Oracle Racing bt K-Challenge
Race4:
Team ORIGIN bt Team Shosholoza
Race5:
Luna Rossa bt Team Shosholoza

Today started out weird in Auckland today. We had too much wind the day before, today, a server lack of it, or when there was wind, there was a lack of set direction in order to set a proper race axis which would be fair to both teams. Racing was scheduled for 11AM but come 12, there was still only 3knts of breeze, quite a rare sort of event but oh well, the boys on the bsport boat had fun as a Team Shosholoza member caught a snapper, so they made up the Official Louis Vuitton Snapper Competition, by where if you were out on the water waiting for racing & fishing, catch a snapper, txt the size to the number, then come see the boys at the press conferance when proof of your catch of the day, the biggest wins a bottle of moet, courtesy of Bruno Trouble, how choice!
Anyhow, racing got under way at 2:45PM with the first race, ETZN vs China Team, China getting into trouble before the start, going over early, just like Alinghi did yesterday but with no tide interaction, purely misplacement, and therefore ETNZ steamed away easily, race won.
10 or so minutes after Race1 started on the black course, right up near the old Americas Cup regatta area near Whangaparoa, Race2 started, as they were pushing to get the normal 4 done today, let alone the carry over one from yesterday which was postponed due to high winds!
Anyhow, we got all the races done, not too much action today but come next week, expect crowds and sparks to fly.
Went down for the press conferance tonight but it was canned as it was just too late once they had all got in and they all probably just wanted to go back to the hotel, there was no one at the Viaduct Village anyhow, pretty dull but oh well, you get that.
Tomorrows races, not that exciting but its the last day of Round Robin 1, so far only Emirates Team NZ remain unbeaten.
Race1:
Damiani Italia Challenge vs BMW Oracle Racing - Russell should have this one
Race2:
Alinghi vs Team Shosholoza - Brad & co should have this one too
Race3:
K-Challenge vs Emirates Team New Zealand - We should have this one also
Race4:
Team ORIGIN vs Greek Challenge - Im pulling for the greeks, I like them, their spirit and their campaign, they are not doing too badly in this regatta, all considering they have hardly sailed in boats like these before, I hope they give a good old shove up the Brittish, as someone always should.

More tomorrow as it happens on Sailing Anarchy Forums 'Official Louis Vuitton Pacific Series Thread' or look back here tomorrow night for the round up of the last race of the Round Robin 1, Louis Vuitton Pacific Series.
